Helping you heal trauma at the root.

Trauma-informed support for trauma recovery, psychedelic preparation & integration, and breaking the patterns that keep you stuck.

Whether you're navigating emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, difficulties with boundaries or relationships, I'm here to help you reconnect with yourself and create meaningful, lasting change.

Hi, I'm Shalini

I'm a Trauma Recovery & Psychedelic Integration Coach, a CPTSD survivor, an advocate and someone who knows firsthand how challenging, painful, and transformative healing can be.

For years, I struggled with Complex PTSD. On the outside, I appeared successful, social, capable, and high-functioning. But underneath, I was exhausted, disconnected from myself, and living with a constant sense of unsafety.

I know what it's like to feel stuck in patterns you don't understand, to lose yourself in abusive relationships, to struggle with boundaries, and to feel like you're surviving rather than truly living.

My own healing journey over the past decade has taken me through trauma-informed therapy, nervous system work, somatic healing, group work, and psychedelic-assisted experiences. Those experiences have profoundly shaped the work I do today.

Today, I support individuals and couples navigating CPTSD recovery, emotional overwhelm, grief, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck in their lives.

I also work with people preparing for and integrating psychedelic experiences, helping them make sense of what comes up and translate their insights into meaningful changes in everyday life.

My approach brings together a blend of trauma-informed coaching, nervous system awareness, somatic practices, and grief, reparenting and parts work, with a deep respect for your individual journey, needs, and autonomy. I believe in an holistic approach of body, mind and spirit.

I believe healing isn't about fixing ourselves. It's about understanding what happened to us, reconnecting with who we are, and creating a life that no longer revolves around survival.

There was a time when I genuinely believed I was too broken to heal. Today, I understand that so much of what I once judged in myself was simply how I had learned to survive.

We were never broken. We adapted. And we can find our way back to ourselves.

My hope is to offer the kind of support, understanding, and compassion that makes this journey feel a little less lonely. 🌿

  • You're looking for someone who understands both trauma and psychedelics through professional training and lived experience.

Areas of Support

I work with both individuals and couples.

Together, we may work on:

  • Understanding your triggers, protective responses, and patterns shaped by trauma

  • Navigating emotional overwhelm, hypervigilance, shutdown, or numbness

  • Working through people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-abandonment, and difficulties setting boundaries

  • Navigating relationship difficulties and developing healthier ways of relating

  • Reconnecting with your needs, emotions, identity, self-trust, and sense of self

  • Finding purpose and alignment

The goal isn't to “fix” you. It's to help you feel safer, more connected to yourself, and freer to live differently.

Trauma Recovery Coaching:

Together, we may work on:

  • Preparing for psychedelic experiences with greater clarity, intention, and psychological grounding

  • Exploring and making sense of what emerged during your experience

  • Processing emotions, memories, and difficult material that surfaced

  • Finding grounding and support after challenging or destabilising experiences

  • Translating insights into meaningful, sustainable changes in everyday life

Integration is about bringing the experience back into your everyday life, not chasing the experience itself.

What Clients Are Saying

Healing happens in relationship. Here are a few reflections from people I've had the privilege of working with.

  • „Before working with Shalini, I was stuck in compassion fatigue always helping others but neglecting myself. I felt lost, unmotivated, and disconnected from my goals. Her coaching was a game changer. I reconnected with what I truly want, found clarity, and started taking care of myself again. Even my loved ones noticed the shift. Shalini held space for me in a way that felt truly personal. I felt seen, not just coached. Highly recommended. “

    – Maria, Healthcare Worker, North Carolina, USA

  • We connected through messages in regards to what I am in need of healing. She felt like a beautiful match. She offered me a consultation session where I experienced her powerfully calm and safe presence. It was prominently reflected to me within session that my system felt uneasy with such a safe presence. My session with Shalini offered me deep reflection and I felt seen. I left the session feeling hopeful. She is a pure, beautiful soul who has clearly walked the walk. I would refer her to anyone in need of nervous system healing and a safe space. I hold deep gratitude for Shalini. Thank you so much for your generosity, love and purity.

    -Bri, British Columbia, Canada

  • Example of the kind of support offered during psychedelic integration ->„I had an overwhelming ayahuasca experience that continued to affect me long after the ceremony. I struggled to make sense of what had happened and why I still felt so unsettled. Working with Shalini helped me explore the experience without judgment, understand how overwhelming experiences can affect the nervous system, and recognise that I needed more time, grounding, and support. Instead of feeling pressured to find some profound meaning in everything that happened, I was able to focus on what I actually needed to feel more stable and connected to myself."

    -Anonymous Client, Johannesburg

  • Example of the kind of support offered during psychedelic preparation -> "Preparing for MDMA-assisted therapy brought up a lot of questions and uncertainty for me. Working with Shalini helped me slow down, explore my intentions, understand my emotional needs, and think more carefully about the importance of safety, setting, and the support available to me. Rather than telling me what I should do, she helped me ask better questions, recognise my boundaries, and approach the experience with greater awareness and clarity. "

  • "Working with Shalini has given me a framework to better understand my inner world, the different parts of myself, and how my early childhood experiences continue to influence my life today, including how I show up as a parent. I'm learning to approach those younger parts of myself with compassion rather than judgment, become more aware of my reactions, and respond differently in my relationships. Shalini has also helped me feel less alone and more understood in my CPTSD recovery, recognise my own needs, and begin setting healthier boundaries.

    -Anonymous Client

  • „I felt seen, heard and validated, which made this a very healing experience. Shalini is affirming and I didn't feel judged at all. Instead, I felt like I was talking to someone who understands and values my journey. The experience was a reminder that I've come a long way and I have so much to be proud of. If you are thinking of facing your trauma then I would highly recommend Shalini.“

    – Sandi H., Johannesburg

  • „I only had one session with Shalini but it was very impactful. I finally understand why my body has been feeling like it has this whole time. I have been through a lot of trauma and so my nervous system rewired itself to expect danger. This leaves me feeling exhausted and unable to do anything because all my energy is spent on anticipating a danger that is not there. My nervous system needs to be updated so that I can feel safe again. Shalini also told me that all this is not my fault. My nervous system is working the way it's designed to work. This helps me a lot because now I feel less shame and I see myself differently. Thank you so much Shalini for changing my life in just a short time..“

    – Sandy, Johannesburg

  • "Working with Shalini has been such a meaningful part of my CPTSD recovery. For the first time in a long time, I feel less alone in what I'm going through. She has helped me understand that I'm not broken, that my reactions make sense in light of what I've experienced, and that I deserve the same care and compassion I so often give to others. Through our work, I'm learning to recognise my own needs, set healthier boundaries, and put myself first without feeling guilty. Most importantly, I feel seen, heard, and genuinely understood. Shalini has helped me find hope again and believe that healing is possible. "
